The 5 best ways to avoid the “Jolyn Swim” controversy
On Sunday, TMZ Sports announced that it would no longer cover the reality competition series, Jolyn Swim.
The decision was made following an outcry from fans, who criticized the show for promoting violence against women.
The controversy has been building for several weeks now, and TMZ has been silent on the issue for months.
After all, it’s not exactly a news site with a huge audience.
In fact, in August, the site reported that the show would return in February 2019.
While there is no word on whether or not that will happen, the network has been very vocal about not being complicit in the violence of its characters.
It’s no secret that some of the contestants are also members of the LGBTQ community.
And if that isn’t enough to make you feel bad for those people, there’s also the fact that the series has no rules on what to wear and what to do, and that its “guests” are allowed to “go at it” if they so choose.
It seems as if everyone’s opinion of the series is being watched.
But TMZ Sports has made its decision to move forward.
“We are proud to serve as a platform for this award-winning series that has become an instant hit with fans, critics and advertisers alike,” the network said in a statement.
“While we are not able to comment on individual contestants, we can tell you that this is a decision we took to protect our network and our viewers.”
As a result, the reality show is now available for streaming on the network’s own YouTube channel.
The “Jolyns Swim” has been going on since 2012, but TMZ Sports made it official on Wednesday.
“On behalf of our editorial team and all our fans, we are sad to say that Jolyns swim is not returning to MTV this season,” the statement said.
“However, we respect the opinions of our viewers and believe that our decision is best for all concerned.”
It seems that the decision has also impacted other shows on the channel, like The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“If you are a reality show viewer, please consider canceling your subscription and returning to our channel,” the channel’s Facebook page reads.
“The ‘Jolynes Swim’ has had a positive impact on our community.
We are very proud to have it and look forward to bringing it back for the 2018 season.”
