When your pet swam in the swimming pool
Two girls were recently fined for swiping a fish in the water.
The pair were swimming in the pool in the Adelaide CBD when they pulled out a fish to eat.
The police swimmers were told they would have to pay a $500 fine.
But the girls said they were just trying to help their fish and they were happy to take the fish home.
The court heard the fish had been caught and released in the same pool and the fish was not at risk of dying from its weight.
But both girls were fined and the court heard they were also warned to avoid swiping fish in swimming pools.
