Why the American Eagle Swim briefs don’t match the American Flag
The American Eagle swim briefs are now in the US Olympic pool, but they have yet to be approved by the US government for use in the Olympic games.
The swim briefs feature a white circle in the middle of the shorts, which the US has said is an American flag and the phrase “We will always be a great nation”.
But they do not reflect the colors of the flag.
The American flag is red and white and the motto “We the People” is written across the top.
It is the second time the swim briefs have been denied approval by the government in recent weeks.
The other American flag-related requests have been made for the swim shorts in the Australian swimming pool and the American flag has also been requested for the American swimming pool.
The US Olympic Committee has been criticised for allowing the swims to be carried out in the pools.
The US flag, which was a symbol of the American Civil War, has been removed from the swimming pool by the Australian government.
“The US has a history of allowing American flags to be flown in our swimming pools, including the American eagle swim,” a spokesman for the USOC told ABC News on Thursday.
“That history does not extend to our flag.”‘
Unacceptable’American flag in swimming poolAmerican Eagle swims have become a controversial issue in recent months.
Australia’s swimming team has been accused of racism after a swimmer was seen to hold up the American national flag while swimming in the same pool.
Australian swimmer Ryan O’Connor was criticised for the gesture in a video released on Tuesday, with the Australian Olympic Committee also drawing the criticism.
“Unacceptable,” American flag activist Michael Jannas said on Twitter.
“This is an affront to all Australians and anyone who loves their country,” Mr Jannes added.
“We need a US flag that represents our flag.
This is unacceptable.”
Australian swim coach Nick O’Neill said the swim was “an appropriate gesture”.
“We are all swimming under a flag that was used to fight in the American civil war,” he said.
“I don’t think that there’s any other flag in Australia that we could use.”
It’s a very proud moment for us and our nation.
“Australian flag in swim poolAfter the American swim team’s swim was made public on Tuesday the US swim team also made a similar protest on social media.
Australian Olympic Committee spokesman Alex Boulton said the US flag should be removed from their pool immediately.”
Our flag is being used for the swimming in our pool,” Mr Boultons tweeted.”
They’re trying to get it removed, but it’s inappropriate.
