Texas parents are celebrating the arrival of a new kids pool at the Fort Worth Elementary School.
The pool, which opened in September, features two separate pools with separate equipment, including a small swimming pool for kids ages 4-12.
Fort Worth school district spokesman David Ritchie said the pool is a first for the district.
“This is really cool,” Ritchie told the Fort Wayne (Ind.)
“It’s a lot of fun to get kids playing in the pool.
We’re getting a lot more people into the playgrounds.”
The district plans to open another new kids playroom next year at a new location in the school’s building.
